On Sunday February 3rd at 11AM, Pastor Marcus will continue with his Sermon Series, “Goliath MUST Fall.”  All of us are facing giants that stand in between us and our destiny in Christ.  In Jesus’ name, those giants don’t need to fall, they MUST fall because they were taken down more than 2,000 years ago on the cross of Calvary.  Join us as we break free from the bondage that has hindered us and walk into 2019 with victory!

On Wednesday February 6th at 7PM, Pastor Joni will continue with her Teaching Series from Dave Ramsey entitled, “The Total Money Makeover.”  We believe it is important that we be good stewards of the money that God has blessed us with and this series provides a proven plan for financial fitness.  Join us for some easy steps of practical application as we learn how to pay off debt, recognize ten money myths, and secure savings for retirement and emergencies.

On Sunday February 3rd at 11AM, our Kid’s Church will continue in their new series from The Gospel Project called “Jeremiah and Captivity.”   This series talks about the people of God who had turned away from the Lord and had been put into bondage by the Babylonians because of their sins.  Even in captivity, God used prophets like Jeremiah and Ezekiel to foretell the coming of Jesus in which sin can be forgiven once and for all!

On Sunday February 10th, immediately following our morning Worship Service, we will be having an organizational meeting for our 2019 Easter Drama, “The Glory of His Resurrection.”  If you’ve been a part of the Drama for years or if you’ve never been in it before, we would love to have you be a part of this year’s production.  Join us for a quick meeting after church and learn how you can be part of this outreach ministry that has touched many lives over the past 25 years.

On Sunday February 17th, immediately following our morning Worship Service, we will be having our annual church business meeting for all members of our church.  We will be giving a full financial report for the 2018 calendar year as well as a detailed progress report on our Fellowship Hall Renovation including budget and approximate completion date.  Please make plans to stay after Service for this very important meeting.

On Saturday February 9th at 11AM, we will be participating with Fairlawn Baptist Church and Fairlawn Presbyterian Church to package and prepare 10,000 meals for Rise Against Hunger.  These meals will consist of rice, vegetables, and a packet of vitamins.  If you are able to help package these meals on this day, please see Rev. Justin Coleman or sign up in the back of our Sanctuary.

On Saturday, February 23rd from 9AM – 3PM, our Emergency Response Ministry Team will be sponsoring a CPR/First Aid Certification class for anyone that is interested.  The class will grant you a two-year certification in both fields.  If you are a member of our Emergency Team, or just interested in becoming certified or recertified, we invite you to take this class with us.  This would be especially beneficial for all teachers or Children’s Ministry volunteers.  Interested applicants need to sign up with Sherry O’Dell or in the back of the Sanctuary.
